Samaire returns to Dirty Sexy Money

On Dirty Sexy Money, she is known as that ill-tempered, diva-ish, spoiled girl who'd long dreamed of being taken seriously as an actress who is now on some island somewhere. Juliet Darling, played by Samaire Armstrong, once revealed to Nick that her promiscuous reputation was just a show, since having a reputation as a "slut" is easier than trying to convince anyone that she's never even been kissed. She was, of course, a regular on Dirty Sexy Money's first season, but opted not to return because of “personal reasons.” Some fans miss the interaction between the twins.
An ABC spokesperson tells Entertainment Weekly that Armstrong will be returning to Dirty Sexy Money for a special Thanksgiving-themed episode set to air on November 26 called “The Facts." The Darlings are away celebrating Thanksgiving, while back in New York, the chauffeur sits down with a reporter to give his take on the many scandals that clan has been embroiled in, especially Juliet's worldwide adventures with her lover Kai.

Interview US magazine:
Reformed party girl Samaire Armstrong — who entered outpatient treatment for three months last October for "personal issues" — says you have to be "willing" to get help.
"What made me willing was hitting a bottom," the actress, 27, told Usmagazine.com at the Los Angeles premiere of Bra Boys Monday.
"It can be a spiritual bottom, it can be a financial bottom," she added. "It can be a combination of all of those."
She told Us she had gone to treatment before and "was on the right path, then I got off."

 Dirty Sexy Money will be down a Darling next season.
Samaire Armstrong, who plays Juliet, brat-astic celebutante and fraternal twin to Jeremy, will not be returning to the series full-time, sources confirm to me exclusively. A spokesperson for ABC Studios declined to comment, but a Dirty Sexy insider tells me that producers decided not to pick up Armstrong's contract option. The actress is, however, expected to appear on a recurring basis, her schedule permitting.

ABC has now ordered full seasons of its entire Wednesday-night rookie lineup after picking up a full season of Dirty Sexy Money.
The network has now picked up full seasons of four of its shows, having already ordered back nines for Wednesday-night dramas Private Practice and Pushing Daisies, as well as comedy Samantha Who.

Major updates

I know that updates have been few so far this year and for this I apologise. I have had very little time for the site, and I'm sure that applies to my co-webs also. I also want to applaud Tanja for adding so many great images lately.
Now, on to the good stuff. As you can see, the site has a new layout. I felt that it was time to get rid of the last one and give the site a spring layout.
There are also some changes on the site. The biggest is the spotlight-link above. It will take you to a mini-site about It's a boy girl thing. There are still some things to be added to the site, but I thought that you might like a link to it anyway. I have plans for similar sites for all of Samaire's larger projects (films, tv-shows). I'm not sure when they will appear, but hopefully it will be some time during the spring. They will all be placed under the "career"-link in the menu.
I have also added two new videos to the site. The first one is the trailer to It's a boy girl thing. The second is the commercial Samaire did for Candies.
I have also tried to figure out what's wrong with the commenting system, but have had no luck in bringing back the deleted comments. This is apparently something Cutenews suffers from now and then, at least I think so, since it has happened to me once before. The old comments are gone, but I have managed to get the comments to work again. From this entry and onwards, comments should work again. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it won't happen again!

It looks like Samaire has a new project, another television show. Let's hope that this show does well and we can all see more of Samaire.
Samaire Armstrong (The OC, Entourage) and Zoe McLellan (JAG) have joined ABC's drama pilot "Dirty Sexy Money." The show stars Peter Krause as an idealistic lawyer who gets to represent the Darlings, a rich and powerful family. Armstrong will play Juliet Darling, a Paris Hilton-type heiress.
